Usamos el verbo to be tiene 2 usos

Los cuales son:

Describir: personas, lugares, animales, situaciones.

Structure.

Subject + am / is / are + adjective + complement.

Luis is tall. Eduardo is short. Daniel and Louisa are happy.

Helena is beautiful. Sonia is pretty. I am funny.

Presencia: cuando nos encontramos en un lugar determinado en el presente.

Structure.

Subject + am / is / are + in + place.

Helena and Luis are in my house. You are in the store. John is in his house.

I am in the school. Hilda is in the mall. Christopher is in the car.

PLURAL : (Cuando son 2 o mas objetos,personas,animales)

ARE :

THEY (Son/Estan).

YOU

SINGULAR: (Cuando solo es una persona,objeto,animal)

IS :

SHE (Es/Esta).
